(Baonghean.vn) - That was one of the contents agreed upon at the conference to review the patriotic emulation movement in the first 6 months of 2019 of the Internal Affairs - Armed Forces of Nghe An organized on the morning of July 2.

In the first 6 months of 2019, the patriotic emulation movement of the Internal Affairs - Armed Forces sector has received attention from leaders, directed to organize and launch emulation in many forms, methods, and innovative measures; creating a change from awareness to action of cadres, civil servants, soldiers, and employees striving to excellently complete their tasks.

The content of the emulation movement has closely followed the political and professional tasks, associated with Resolution 4 of the 12th Central Committee and Directive 05 of the Politburo on Studying and following the ideology, morality and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh. Many units have had initiatives, launching emulation in short, thematic periods, associated with political events, anniversaries of the country and each industry.

For example, in the first 6 months of 2019, the Provincial Border Guard Command discovered and arrested 45 cases/56 subjects, seized 11 cakes, 17 grams of heroin, 106,328 synthetic drug pills; 507,976 kg of synthetic drugs in the form of rocks. At the same time, donated 335 million VND to help 3 poor communes.

The provincial police have investigated and clarified 381/449 cases of social order violations (reaching 84.9%), arrested 677 subjects, and seized many other assets with a total value of about 11.3 billion VND. Arrested 630 cases, 2,854 gambling subjects, and seized nearly 7.3 billion VND... Mobilized 1,563 officers and soldiers, 224 fire trucks to promptly respond to fires and incidents. Officers and soldiers voluntarily contributed 4.6 billion VND, visited and gave gifts to the poor and families with meritorious services.

Representatives of the units also frankly pointed out some limitations that need to be discussed and learned from in professional work as well as emulation and reward work that needs to be focused on.

Promoting the achievements, in the last 6 months of 2019, the Internal Affairs - Armed Forces Bloc will focus on implementing the following contents: Continuing to thoroughly implement Resolution 4 of the 12th Central Committee (term XII) on Party building and rectification in conjunction with implementing Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on continuing to "Promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle".

At the same time, promote patriotic emulation movements; pay attention to building, fostering, and replicating advanced models, good people, and good deeds in agencies and units.
