The Miss World Vietnam 2019 competition is the latest platform for the 9x beauty queen Nguyen Huyen Trang.
Huyen Trang is one of the finalists in Miss World Vietnam. Born in 1996 in Quang Ninh, she is 1.73 m tall and has measurements of 84-63-91 cm.The beauty queen said she didn't receive support from her family or boyfriend to participate in the beauty pageant, but she was still determined to pursue her dream. She is confident that she has enough experience to showcase herself in this year's competition.

Huyen Trang gained attention when she publicly revealed her relationship with U23 player Trong Dai in mid-2018. She has tried her luck in several beauty pageants. In 2015, she participated in a competition.Queen of Jewelryand won the title of 2nd runner-up. In 2016, she continued to register for the Miss Vietnam Beach pageant and won the Best Photogenic award.
In 2017, she participated in Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 and reached the semi-finals.After the first episode of the reality TV show "I Am Miss Universe Vietnam 2017," she was criticized by viewers for her viewpoint: "Competing in a beauty pageant is about becoming famous and earning a very high income like Pham Huong." When the judges further asked, "How much money is enough?", she replied, "Humans have insatiable greed. I'll just earn as much as I can. If I had even more money, I could donate it to the state treasury or protect the environment."After this episode, she withdrew from the competition for personal reasons. That same year, she competed in Miss Ocean 2017 and became one of the strong contenders. Huyen Trang reached the top 5 in the final round.

Earlier this year, the beauty queen continued to try her luck at the Miss Vietnamese Identity Global pageant.During the swimsuit competition, the model was criticized for having a less-than-toned physique. Huyen Trang stated that she was confident in her catwalk skills but her body wasn't as perfect as she'd hoped and needed to lose more weight.
Huyen Trang and the other contestants will advance to the final round of Miss World Vietnam, held in Da Nang. The judging panel includes: Miss Ha Kieu Anh, Mai Phuong Thuy, singer Dam Vinh Hung... The winner may be nominated to compete in Miss World this year.
