'Youth Journey Following Uncle Ho's Footsteps' to Disseminate Law to Mountain People
(Baonghean.vn) - As part of the series of activities "Youth journey following Uncle Ho's footsteps", the Youth Union of the Ministry of Public Security and Nghe An Provincial Youth Union jointly organized a program to propagate laws on traffic safety and order and prevent drug crimes in Pha Lom village, Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district on the evening of July 4.

Pha Lom village, Tam Hop commune is a particularly difficult border village of Tuong Duong district with 100% ethnic minorities, slow economic development, complicated security and order situation, especially a hot spot for social evils with a high rate of drug addicts.
At the program, the Organizing Committee disseminated laws on traffic safety and drug crime prevention, aiming to help people raise awareness and consciousness in ensuring social order and safety, traffic safety and have a deeper insight into the causes, harms and consequences of social evils, especially drugs and human trafficking.

Through the form of mobile propaganda to each household and dramatization with many unique performances, elaborately staged skits have brought viewers familiar and effective content. The program also propagates to people to well implement the Party's policies and guidelines, and the State's policies and laws.

Also on this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 50 helmets to local people; 1,200 notebooks to students; 10 gifts to poor students overcoming difficulties in Pha Lom village; started construction of a charity house and inaugurated a playground for children; presented 400 fruit trees to the economic development model of 2 families in Tuong Duong district.

In addition, Nghe An Youth Union and the Ministry of Public Security also organized activities such as issuing free identity cards to 200 people who are single, the elderly, and policy families, and issuing them for the first time to students in Tam Quang commune on the morning of July 5.
Total value of activities is nearly 350 million VND.
