Vinh University High School for the Gifted announces admission scores
(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh University High School for the Gifted has just announced the admission scores for grade 10 - 2019. Literature is the specialized class with the highest admission score this school year.
The remaining specialized classes have the following admission scores: specialized Math; 23.5 points, specialized IT: 20 points, specialized Physics: 16.5 points, specialized Chemistry: 21.75 points, specialized Biology: 18 points and specialized English: 21.75 points.
Previously, in this year's exam, Vinh University High School for the Gifted had nearly 1,500 applications. Of which, the class with the highest number of applications was the English class with 515 applications and the lowest was the Biology class with 104 applications.

Before this year's exam, the school also directly admitted 90 students who won provincial excellent student awards in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces.
This is also the first year that Vinh University High School for the Gifted organizes the same exam with Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.
Dr. Le Xuan Son - Vice Principal of the school said: The candidates' exam results are quite good, but to accurately assess students' abilities, we must conduct a survey at the beginning of the school year.

In addition, with the current results, the possibility of reducing the benchmark score is not much. Particularly for the specialized classes of Biology, Chemistry, English and Information Technology, the school will reserve 10% of the quota to enroll students who have registered for the entrance exam to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted with a registration score 1 point higher than the benchmark score.
Based on the application documents, the school will review the applications of successful candidates in order from highest to lowest until the enrollment quota is met.
