Visit and support families of sailors in distress at sea

On the morning of July 8, Mr. Le Phong (a son of Tien Thuy commune) who is working in Hanoi visited and gave 50 million VND from a benefactor in Ho Chi Minh City to support the families of dead and missing crew members; each family received 5 million VND.

Fishing boat sinks at sea, 9 Nghe An crew members missing

(Baonghean.vn) - After discovering the fishing boat of fishermen in Quynh Luu (Nghe An) sank at sea, the rescue team saved 9 crew members and found 1 body; 9 fishermen are still missing.

After hearing the news that fishing boat NA 95899 TS of fishermen from Tien Thuy commune (Quynh Luu) had an accident in Hai Phong waters, causing 1 death and 9 missing fishermen in Hai Phong waters, a philanthropist in Ho Chi Minh City donated 50 million VND to share the pain and loss of the families of the crew members in the accident.

Previously, on the afternoon of July 7, comrade Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, Permanent Vice President of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union, and leaders of the provincial Women's Union's departments visited Quynh Luu district to visit and encourage the families of crew members who died and went missing on the fishing boat NA 95899-TS. On this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union presented a total of 14.5 million VND in support to the families.

At the families, the delegation sent their regards and sympathies to the families of the crew members on the ship; for the families of the missing and deceased crew members, the delegation encouraged the families to overcome the pain and move forward in life.
