Preparing for a meeting with residents, announcing compensation policy for land clearance of the North-South expressway

Nghe An Province Department of Transport said that up to now, districts and towns where the North-South Expressway passes through, including Hoang Mai, Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Nghi Loc, and Hung Nguyen, have handed over site clearance piles to project investors.

Currently, localities are conducting the extraction and measurement. After completing this step, the Department of Transport requests districts and towns to hold meetings with people, announce the compensation policy for the North-South Expressway because the compensation fund has been transferred to the localities.

Currently, the investor, Project Management Board 6, has allocated 660 billion VND/2,000 billion VND for site clearance to the districts. Of which, Hoang Mai town has 90 billion VND, Quynh Luu district has 100 billion VND, Dien Chau district has 170 billion VND, Yen Thanh district has 40 billion VND, Nghi Loc district has 60 billion VND, and Hung Nguyen district has 200 billion VND.

Regarding the request of households in Dien Yen commune (69 households) and Dien Dong commune (50 households) to adjust the overpass plan from National Highway 7B over the expressway to the expressway over National Highway 7B, the Ministry of Transport said that it could not be implemented and the original plan of National Highway 7B over the expressway by overpass was still kept.
