Nghe An female athlete won gold medal at the 2019 National Youth Taekwondo Championship
(Baonghean.vn) - At the 2019 National Youth Taekwondo Championship - CJ, athlete Nguyen Thi Kim Anh of Nghe An delegation once again made her mark by bringing home a Gold Medal.
Nguyen Thi Kim Anh was born in 2002 in Nghi Loc. With an ideal height (1m70), Kim Anh started training in 2015.
After only 1 year of practicing Taekwondo, Kim Anh won the Gold Medal at the National Student Championship in the Northern region in 2016. In 2017 and 2019, Kim Anh continued to win the Gold Medal at this tournament.

In 2018, under the guidance of coach Dang Dinh Hung, Kim Anh grew visibly and affirmed her talent with a gold medal at the 2018 Youth Taekwondo Championship and a gold medal at the 2018 Strong Clubs Cup.
At the 2019 Southeast Asian Taekwondo Championship, Kim Anh won a bronze medal. Recently, at the 2019 National Youth Taekwondo Championship - CJ, Kim Anh excellently won a gold medal in the 68 kg weight category (15-17 years old).
Besides Kim Anh's achievement, Nghe An delegation also impressed when possessing a Silver Medal in the 78 kg weight class of athlete Nguyen Van Dai and a Bronze Medal in the 52 kg weight class of athlete Dang Khanh Nhi.

The 2019 National Youth Taekwondo Championship took place from July 4 to July 14, 2019 in Lao Cai province with the participation of 1,350 athletes from 46 provinces and cities across the country. Nghe An delegation had 15 athletes participating.
From now until July 14, the Nghe An delegation will continue to compete in the Team event. This is one of the key high-performance sports of Nghe An province that has been actively promoted over the past many years./.
