Ho Tong Thoc road will be opened at the end of August 2019
(Baonghean.vn) - The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that if by July 20, Nghe An General Hospital Friendship Joint Stock Company has not done anything, enforcement will be carried out.
Speaking at the discussion session in the hall, Ms. Thai Thi An Chung - Deputy Head of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council, delegate of Tan Ky district mentioned the issue of reopening Ho Tong Thoc street.
The reopening of Ho Tong Thoc Street was decided by the Provincial People's Committee on September 18, 2018, at a working session to resolve petitions from a number of families and individuals regarding the closure and diversion of Ho Tong Thoc Street in Nghi Phu Commune (Vinh City).
Also at this working session, the Provincial People's Committee directed that the reopening of the road must ensure the width for 2 lanes of motor vehicles, ensuring the traffic of people, striving to complete in the first quarter of 2019.

"According to the plan, the road will be reopened in the first quarter of 2019. The Provincial People's Committee has issued a document assigning Vinh City People's Committee to be the investor, with funding from the provincial budget of more than 4.5 billion VND. I request the Provincial People's Committee to clarify the progress of reopening this road. When will the reopening of Ho Tong Thoc road be completed?" - Ms. Thai Thi An Chung commented.

Clarifying the opinions of interested delegates, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy said that according to the commitment of the Vinh City People's Committee, Ho Tong Thoc Street will be cleared by July 30, 2019. The current problem is that the hospital's wastewater tank was built to open about 2 meters of road. Currently, Nghe An General Hospital Joint Stock Company is being asked to narrow this tank to clear the road.
By July 20, if Nghe An General Hospital Friendship Joint Stock Company does not move the wastewater treatment tank to hand over the construction site to clear the road, the Provincial People's Committee will direct the competent authorities to use coercive measures to ensure the road is cleared and Ho Tong Thoc road is used by the end of August 2019.

On May 4, 2019, Vinh City People's Committee issued Decision No. 2567/QD-UBND approving the adjustment of the economic-technical report on construction investment: Renovation and upgrading of Ho Tong Thoc Street. Including the addition of the construction item of a 9m-wide planned road through the Nghe An General Hospital area, phase 2.
This road section is 264.99m long, with a red line of 9m, a road surface of 7m wide, and a sidewalk of 1m on each side. The construction cost is determined to come from the provincial budget, with a value of 4 billion 578 million 539 thousand VND.
