(Baonghean.vn) - That is one of the outstanding results recorded at the Military-Political Conference for the first 6 months of 2019, deploying tasks for the last 6 months of the year of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 4 Command.

On the morning of July 11, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Military Region 4 Command held a military-political conference for the first 6 months of 2019. Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh - Commander of the Military Region chaired the conference. Attending the conference were representatives of the Ministry of National Defense and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Military Region 4 Command.

In the first 6 months of 2019, closely following the resolutions and orders on military and defense tasks of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the practical situation of units and localities, the Party Committee of the Military Region Command has led and directed agencies and units to thoroughly grasp and maintain combat readiness, rescue and relief, closely coordinate with local authorities to grasp the local situation; synchronously, in-depth and comprehensively deploy all aspects of work, successfully completing the military and defense tasks set out in the first 6 months of the year.

The Head of the Military Region Command awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in serving the Emulation Congress and participating in forest fire fighting.

Notably, the direction to improve combat readiness; mobilized 24,125 officers, soldiers and 264 vehicles of all kinds to participate in search and rescue in the area; made many changes in force building, training, drills and fostering knowledge of national defense and security. Well organized Party activities, political work and all aspects of logistics, technical and financial assurance. In particular, successfully organized the Emulation Congress for Victory of the Military Region's Armed Forces for the period 2014 - 2019.

The conference discussed, analyzed, evaluated and emphasized the causes of the results achieved and some limitations in implementing tasks in the first 6 months of 2019, and agreed on some key contents to implement tasks in the last 6 months of 2019.

At the conference, the Military Region Command announced a proposal to the Minister of National Defense to award Certificates of Merit to 8 groups and 15 individuals with outstanding achievements in participating in forest fire fighting in the Military Region.

The Military Region Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 16 collectives and 17 individuals with outstanding achievements in serving the Military Region's Armed Forces Emulation Congress for the period 2014 - 2019; and awarded Certificates of Merit to 9 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in participating in forest fire fighting in the Military Region.
