Arrested 'addict' specializing in bringing drugs into motels for use

On July 11, the Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Agency said: The unit is temporarily detaining Nguyen Tri Bao (born in 1989), residing in Hai Thanh block, Nghi Hai ward (Cua Lo town) to investigate and clarify the act of illegal possession of drugs.

The investigation agency said: At 5:00 p.m. on July 10, the working group of the Traffic Patrol and Control Team 146, the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province, and the working group of the Criminal - Economic - Drug Crime Investigation Police Team of Nghi Loc District Police were on duty on Provincial Road 535, through Xuan Giang Hamlet, Nghi Xuan Commune, when they discovered a young man driving a motorbike, carrying a woman, with suspicious signs.

Stopping the vehicle for inspection, the police discovered a plastic bag containing a white substance weighing 4 grams and 2 pipes used for crystal meth in the young man's back left pocket.

At the investigation agency, the young man who was just arrested, Nguyen Tri Bao, confessed: The white substance seized above was crystal meth, which he bought from an unknown man on the evening of July 9 near the gate of Vinh University.

Bao also confessed: He himself did not have a stable job and was addicted to drugs. He rarely stayed at home but wandered around renting motels to use crystal meth. When he was arrested, Nguyen Tri Bao was on his way to the motel to satisfy his addiction.

Currently, the case is being further investigated by the authorities.
