On July 14, due to the influence of the low pressure area in the West with the Southwest wind causing the foehn effect, Hoa Binh, the Northern Delta and midlands will have hot weather with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees, in some places above 37 degrees.

The Central provinces continue to be hot and extremely hot, with some places experiencing particularly severe heat, with the highest temperatures commonly ranging from 35-38 degrees Celsius, even over 39 degrees Celsius. Temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius are from 11am to 5pm.

This heat wave in the Northern Delta and midland provinces may last until around July 16-17, while the heat wave in the Central region is likely to last for many days to come. The UV index in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City is at a very high level that is harmful to the human body.
