Risk of cracked windshield due to washing car immediately after driving in the sun
When the outdoor temperature is above or below 40 degrees Celsius, the shell and windshield will have to withstand a temperature of more than 60 degrees Celsius; it is very easy for the windshield to crack if you wash your car right after driving in the sun.

This can be completely avoided if you want to wash your car: wait for the temperature of the windshield surface to cool down. |
In addition, to fix the phenomenon of the windshield being cracked or broken due to rocks thrown from the road or oncoming vehicles, you can choose to weld the windshield to limit the scope of the crack and keep yourself safe. Some of the experiences below will help you protect the windshield on your car. However, remember, do not spare money if you have to replace the glass because the crack/break is too large, limiting visibility.
- When the car glass is accidentally cracked/broken, try to keep the crack/break clean by applying a decal to prevent dirt and water from getting in. This helps to treat the crack/break without leaving any marks inside the glass.
- Do not apply force to the crack/break to avoid increasing the size of the crack.
- Do not close the door or trunk forcefully, avoid vibrations that increase cracks (can lower the window 1-2cm to avoid the case of air in the cabin impacting the glass)
- Do not touch the crack with your hands because sweat and oil can make the weld less effective.
- Avoid sudden temperature changes on the windshield; direct sunlight, washing the car when the glass has just been exposed to hot sunlight (surface temperature has not decreased).
