Minister of Health visited and highly appreciated the activities of Kim Lien Commune Health Station

(Baonghean.vn) - Over the past year, Kim Lien Commune Health Station (Nam Dan) has made many efforts to build a model according to the correct standards; examining and treating 13,000 people in the commune and tourists.

Within the framework of the working program with Nghe An, on the afternoon of July 15, the Ministry of Health delegation led by Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien visited and worked in Nam Dan district. Receiving and working with the delegation were comrade Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the Department of Health of Nghe An and Nam Dan district.

Before the working program, the delegation came to offer incense at Kim Lien Relic Site, Nam Dan. Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien and the delegation expressed their infinite gratitude to the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the national liberation hero, outstanding cultural celebrity, and outstanding leader of the workers' and national liberation movements around the world.

On behalf of the working delegation, Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien promised Uncle Ho: We will always be determined to promote emulation movements, build an increasingly developed health sector, and serve well the task of protecting and taking care of people's health.

On the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the delegation of the Ministry of Health also came to offer flowers and incense at the graves of 13 Youth Volunteers at Truong Bon National Historical Site. Moved and impressed by the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs, the delegation members promised to always remember and strive to excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and people, contributing to the development of the homeland and the country.

Next, the delegation visited Kim Lien Commune Health Station. This is one of six health stations in the district deployed under the Project "Pilot model to strengthen grassroots health capacity at six commune health stations in Nam Dan district, period 2018 - 2020".

Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien praised and highly appreciated the unit's efforts in building a model according to the correct standards; examining and treating 13,000 people in the commune and tourists, as well as communication work and vaccination activities.

Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien suggested: Kim Lien Commune Health Station should rearrange the examination room and waiting room in a more scientific way. The station needs to create personal health records soon to better manage people's health.

After nearly 1 year of implementing the project, Kim Lien Commune Health Station has done a number of tasks such as: Propagating to people about the family doctor principle and the benefits of implementing the principle; sending health station staff to participate in family doctor training classes, and hamlet health workers to participate in family medicine training; conducting surveys to establish personal health records; surveying non-communicable diseases in the entire population; upgrading and repairing some construction items at the health station, building a green, clean, and beautiful environment...

Talking with the leaders of Nam Dan District Medical Center, the Minister of Health was pleased with the efforts and initial achievements of the unit in developing techniques and services.

The Minister hopes that Nam Dan District Medical Center will continue to receive advanced techniques transferred by Bach Mai Hospital, thereby meeting the medical examination and treatment needs of people in the locality and neighboring areas.

On July 16, the Minister of Health will attend the ceremony announcing the decision to establish the North Central Forensic Psychiatry Branch, the inauguration ceremony of the radiotherapy technique of Nghe An Oncology Hospital; visit and work with Nghe An General Friendship Hospital and work with leaders of Nghe An province.
