Nghe An Rehabilitation Hospital, formerly the Wounded and Sick Soldiers' Rehabilitation Station, was established on July 15, 1954, located in Nghi Khanh Commune, Nghi Loc District, Nghe An Province. From 1961 to 1964, the station was moved to Dien An Commune, Dien Chau District. In 1976, the Wounded Rehabilitation Station was renamed "Nursing Institute" and moved to Nghi Huong Commune, Nghi Loc District (1976 - 1981). In 1982, the Nursing Institute was moved to Cua Lo Town, Nghi Loc District. On July 9, 1999, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2202/QD-UB.TCCQ to establish "Nghe An Nursing - Rehabilitation Hospital" on the basis of the Nursing Institute. On November 7, 2014, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 85/2014/QD-UBND to change the name to "Nghe An Rehabilitation Hospital". Currently, the hospital is spaciously built with 3 4-storey buildings, 2 2-storey buildings, 2 1-storey buildings; located at 220 Binh Minh Street, Cua Lo Town, Nghe An. Nghe An Rehabilitation Hospital currently has 16 departments and rooms, including 9 specialized departments and 7 functional rooms. Every year, the hospital receives, examines, treats and rehabilitates nearly 7,000 patients for treatment and inpatient rehabilitation at the hospital.
