US intelligence points out 'weaknesses' of the S-400.
Russia's S-400 air defense missile system is one of the most effective air defense systems available, but it has a weakness, according to the US private intelligence center Stratfor.

According to experts at the center, a massive attack could endanger the air defense system if the S-400's operation is not supported by other air defense assets.
The report also noted that the range of the air defense system can reach up to 400 km; however, geographical conditions, such as mountainous terrain, may reduce the effectiveness of the radar capabilities of these weapons.
Therefore, according to the Stratfor center, in mountainous areas, the S-400 can shoot down a low-flying cruise missile not at a distance of hundreds of kilometers, but only at a distance of tens of kilometers.
The intelligence center concluded that the effectiveness of using Russian-made air defense systems depends on the country using them and the skill of the teams operating them.
