Ivanka Trump: The young lady was not 'born with a happy heart'
US President Donald Trump's daughter had a lonely childhood, always dreaming of being cared for by her parents like her friends.
Ivanka Trump is known as a beautiful, talented, rich girl, the right-hand woman of Mr. Donald Trump in the White House. However, before becoming the charming, confident Ivanka like today, she had a not-so-pleasant past.
Ivanka's mother, Ivana, married Donald Trump in 1977. They had three children together: Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. They divorced in 1992, when Ivanka was only 10 years old. Her parents' separation had a significant impact on her psychological state.
Despite the fact that his father married his loverMarla MaplA year after the divorce, Ivanka did everything she could to get his attention. She would stop by her father on the way to school, or call him. And Mr. Trump, almost always, took the calls from his daughter.

Still, he can't pay as much attention to Ivanka as before. Nikki Haskell, another family friend, said: "In Mr. Trump's heart, Ivanka will always be his favorite daughter. But he's only there when he can."
Meanwhile, Ivana did not spend much time with her children. Sometimes, she even threatened to give her up for adoption, which made Ivanka feel hurt and sad.
In her book Kushner Inc., published earlier this year, an anonymous friend revealed Ivanka Trump's feelings of loneliness growing up in a broken home. "Her dysfunctional home life and lack of parental care put her in a vulnerable position," the friend said.
Another friend of Ivanka's shared a memory of bringing her home to visit. This friend complained that her mother was too controlling and made a big deal out of everything. Ivanka said at the time: "I wish my mother cared about me as much."
At age 15, Ivanka enrolled in a boarding school in Connecticut. According to Kushner Inc., she had to leave her girls' school in Manhattan, New York, because she skipped too much class to work as a model. Ivanka said she modeled for Versace and Thierry Mugler because her mother made her pay her own phone bill.

On the first day of registration, the instructor at the boarding school was surprised to see Ivanka Trump step out of a white limousine alone. "She was very beautiful, shy, and quiet. What I remember is that there was no one else there with her. It was very strange," the instructor recounted in the book.Kushner Inc.
At her new school, Ivanka always felt lonely because she had no friends. In a 2007 interview with Marie Claire magazine, Ivanka said: "Studying at boarding school made me feel like I was in prison, while my friends in New York were all happy."
Ivanka's father-in-law, Charles Kushner, said his daughter-in-law once shared that she wanted to join their close family because she never had that feeling.
