Giving gifts to martyrs' relatives on the occasion of July 27
(Baonghean.vn) - Towards the 72nd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, many meaningful activities have been organized in localities.
* Morning of July 19,Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrsvisited and gave gifts to relatives of policy families at the Nghe An martyrs' relatives nursing home in Dien Chau district.
Here, representatives of the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs expressed their gratitude, kindly visited, encouraged and presented meaningful gifts to the relatives of the families of policy beneficiaries.

The Home for Martyrs' Relatives in Dien Chau District is a unit under the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of the province, with the function of receiving and caring for relatives of policy families who live alone and have no place to rely on.
Currently, the unit is directly raising and caring for 29 people, including 23 relatives of martyrs and 6 social protection beneficiaries.
This is one of the activities of the Association for Supporting Relatives of Martyrs held annually on July 27; to honor the contributions of martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

* Same day,representative of the People's Mobilization Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committeealong with some departments and offices of Tan Ky district visited and gave gifts (each gift worth 1 million VND) to the families of the wounded soldiers: Nguyen Ngoc Luan - 3/4 wounded soldier, 2/3 sick soldier, in Tan Son hamlet, Tan An commune and Mr. Nguyen Canh Ngo - 4/4 wounded soldier in Hong Phuc hamlet, Nghia Phuc commune.

Visiting and giving gifts to families with meritorious services, the delegation kindly asked about their health and life and encouraged the families to continue promoting revolutionary traditions, striving to overcome difficulties and rise up in life.
On this occasion, the delegation also directly visited and presented 22 gifts to families of people with revolutionary contributions and facing especially difficult circumstances in the area.
