(Baonghean.vn) - This is one of the activities carried out by the Nghe An Student Volunteer Team of Hanoi Medical University in Thanh Duc commune (Thanh Chuong district) in recent days.

Accordingly, during the 11 days (from July 7th to 18th), as part of the "Green Summer" campaign, 40 volunteers from the Nghe An Student Volunteer Team and Hanoi Medical University, in collaboration with 14 doctors and 3 pharmacists working at various hospitals nationwide, organized screenings and consultations on nutrition, common childhood illnesses, women's reproductive health, and hypertension and musculoskeletal disorders in the elderly.

At the same time, free medication as prescribed by doctors will be provided to three groups: elderly people over 60 years old; children aged 6-10 years old; and women of reproductive age and other policy beneficiaries in Thanh Duc commune.

In addition, there are activities such as: teaching first aid skills to children; building youth projects (medicinal herb gardens, flower-lined roads), promoting reproductive health; visiting and giving gifts to families with meritorious service to the revolution; organizing cultural exchanges with local people, etc.

Reportedly, all members of the volunteer team are from Nghe An province and are currently studying at Hanoi Medical University.
