Nghe An Electricity Company advises customers on collecting and paying electricity bills

(Baonghean) - Currently, on some Facebook pages, fanpages of some individuals and social networking sites, there are signs of spontaneous collection of electricity bills from customers for profit.

Recently, in Vinh City, some individuals have organized to collect electricity bills from customers and then deposit the money into the bank in order to receive a discount from the bank, and give the rest of the money to encourage customers.

This is a spontaneous action and these individuals are not agents or partners of banks or payment intermediary organizations that have signed agreements or contracts to collect electricity bills with the Northern Power Corporation as well as the Power Companies. Therefore, there are many potential high risks, causing damage to customers and affecting the electricity industry.

Currently, Nghe An Electricity Company has signed cooperation agreements to collect electricity bills with 6 banks in the area:BIDV, Agribank, Vietcombank, Vietinbank, Techcombank, HDBankand intermediary collection organizations such asECPAY, Nghe An Post Office, Viettel, Payooland through the customer care website of the Northern Power Corporation. Through that, customers can pay their electricity bills in many forms such as automatic debit, internet banking, SMS & Mobile banking, e-wallet, ATM card, Payment authorization, cash, or through the customer care center website...

Nghe An Electricity Company recommends that when making electricity payment, customers only make direct payment transactions with banks through accounts or deposit cash at banks or intermediary organizations notified by the Electricity Company. Do not deposit or transfer money to organizations or individuals that the electricity industry does not cooperate with for collection.

When discovering organizations or individuals hanging advertising signs, or through social networks such as Facebook, Zalo... promoting electricity bill collection contrary to regulations, customers can call the local Electricity Company or through the customer care hotline.19006769to prevent in time.
