40-year-old pine forest fire in Yen Thanh (Nghe An)

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (July 23), a pine forest fire broke out in hamlet 7, Son Thanh commune (Yen Thanh). The People's Committee of Yen Thanh district mobilized functional forces and local people to control the forest fire. By around 7:00 p.m. this evening, the fire was extinguished.

Mr. Tran Ba Toan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Thanh Commune (Yen Thanh) said that at about 7:00 p.m. on July 23, the authorities had extinguished the forest fire in the pine forest area in Hamlet 7.
(Baonghean) - Since the beginning of the year, 13 forest fires have occurred in Nghe An. Although the authorities and local forces have actively put out the forest fires, there have been human losses and damage to large areas of forest. Forest fire prevention and fighting (PCCCR) work still has many shortcomings, so all levels of industry and people are always worried about forest fires.
