3 US drones conduct reconnaissance in Crimea

At 11:25 a.m. on July 25 (local time), a US Navy P-8 Poseidon anti-submarine patrol aircraft with tail number 169328 took off from Sigonella Air Base on the island of Sicily. The aircraft was later spotted off the coast of the Black Sea of ​​Russia.

Immediately afterwards, at 11:30 a.m., the US Air Force RQ-4B-30 Global Hawk reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with tail number 10-2043 and symbol UAVGH000 also took off from the airbase in Italy. The UAV conducted reconnaissance along the demarcation line in Donbass, then headed to the Crimean coast. The UAV completed its mission and returned to the airport at 9:40 p.m. the same day.

In addition, at 5:35 p.m. the same day, the US Navy P-8A Poseidon anti-submarine patrol aircraft with tail number 169002 took off from Sigonella airport and then conducted patrols along the Russian Black Sea coast. The aircraft flew in the designated area for more than 3 hours.

US military aircraft have been spotted off the coast of Crimea several times. The Russian Defense Ministry has repeatedly called on the US to stop such activities, but the Pentagon has refused.
