Heir to the world's largest hotel chain, Paris Hilton, plans to buy a resort in Ukraine to host a beauty pageant.
The American actress and heiress to the world's largest hotel chain is planning to host a world-class beauty pageant in Ukraine. Paris Hilton's staff have been negotiating for several weeks to acquire Ukraine's Derenivka Kupel complex, located in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains, 20 kilometers from Uzhgorod, according to Ukrinform.

According to the news, the two sides are close to a compromise, but they are currently discussing the details of the contract.
"It is expected to be closed until the end of the summer. And next year, at the suggestion of Paris, the resort will host one of the most popular international beauty pageants," the news agency said.
As the news report notes, the American actress and model first learned about the resort last spring when she spoke at the opening of a hotel in Lviv. Hilton flew to Lviv with her boyfriend Chris Zilka, whose grandfather was born in Ukraine. Then she came up with the idea of investing in the Ukrainian entertainment industry.
