Stealing military uniforms, entering police headquarters to practice theft

The suspect confessed to stealing a military uniform with ranks, badges, and name tags from a police station and then wearing the uniform to the police headquarters to practice theft.

On July 28, information from Thach Thang Ward Police, Da Nang said that the unit had handed over Tran Quang Huy (born in 1995, residing in Que Son District, Quang Nam Province) to Que Son District Police.

Previously, on July 25, Huy wore a police uniform, with a rank and name tag T., and entered the Da Nang City Police Department with the intention of stealing property. Seeing Huy acting suspiciously, officers at the unit detained him for questioning before Huy committed the crime.

At the police station, Huy confessed to stealing a police uniform, complete with ranks and name tag T., from a police station in Que Son district, Quang Nam; then bought shoes, socks, a belt, and drove the stolen motorbike to the Da Nang City Police headquarters to practice theft.

Huy also confessed that he had many other types of uniforms from many forces used for the purpose of stealing property.
