Female barber shop employee stabbed to death by boyfriend in Ha Tinh
Giang stabbed his girlfriend multiple times in a motel room in Ha Tinh on the morning of July 29. He then attempted suicide with a razor blade but did not die, so he called to surrender.
Ha Tinh police are temporarily detaining Le Dang Giang (21 years old, residing in Hoa Hai commune, Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh) to investigate the crime.Killing, according to Article 123 of the 2015 Penal Code.
At around 2:00 a.m. on July 29, at a rented room on Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street, Tan Giang Ward, Giang had a conflict with his girlfriend Vo Thi Hong Nhung (19 years old, residing in Phuc Dong Commune, Huong Khe District). Angry, he grabbed a knife and stabbed her multiple times, causing her to collapse on the spot.

Giang used a razor blade to cut his hand in an attempt to commit suicide but did not die, so he called the police at 113 to surrender. The police arrived at the scene that night, arrested Giang, and seized a knife and many related items. The tenants in the remaining rooms quickly left upon learning of the incident.
The victim was an employee at a local barber shop, Giang was a freelance worker.
