Ukrainian general calls for building missiles to attack Russia
Lieutenant General and veteran of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Vasily Bogdan said that Kiev needs missiles capable of hitting targets in Russia, according to the newspaper "Obozrevatel".
The reason for this statement is the imminent termination of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty.
"Ukraine can have a free hand and freely design and produce medium-range missiles that can reach the strategic locations of the aggressor state so that these missiles can reach Moscow and St. Petersburg," Bogdan said in an interview with the newspaper.

Bogdan called the acquisition of these missiles "non-binding" and stressed that Ukraine can count on the help of its allies in this matter, which, according to him, can sell Kiev suitable weapons and military equipment.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Ukraine renounced its nuclear weapons and in 1996, after signing the Budapest Memorandum, joined the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
Experts have repeatedly noted the inability of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex to produce useless new products. For example, journalist Alexandr Dubinsky called the purchase of a Bentley Bentayga car, owned by politician Sergei Pashinsky, who is closely linked to the defense industry, the “most technological” purchase of the military-industrial complex.
In addition, Mr. Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the magazine "National Defense", also doubts the ability of Ukrainian experts in the field of manufacturing high-tech weapons.
