200 booths participate in the Product Introduction Week of Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An enterprises
(Baonghean.vn) - The product introduction week has 200 booths of 150 businesses, including 150 booths of Ho Chi Minh City businesses and 50 booths of Nghe An province businesses.
Attending the event were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee: Le Hong Vinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.
On the side of Ho Chi Minh City, there was comrade Le Thanh Liem - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee and representatives of departments, branches and sectors.

The program "Week of introducing products of enterprises of Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An province" is an event organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in coordination with departments and branches of Ho Chi Minh City and the Department of Industry and Trade of Nghe An province, taking place from July 31 to August 4 at Vinh City Central Park.

The product introduction week has a scale of 200 booths of 150 businesses, including 150 booths of Ho Chi Minh City businesses and 50 booths of Nghe An province businesses.
Goods on display at Product Launch WeekThis time, the products are rich and diverse, including: high-tech agricultural products, agricultural materials and equipment, mechanics and machinery, electrical appliances and electronics, fashion products, footwear, food and beverages, consumer goods, etc. and service products (tourism, logistics, transportation, banking, etc.).
This is an opportunity to promote and introduce the achievements and economic development potential of the two localities, thereby creating conditions for units and enterprises to display, introduce and promote their brands and products; exchange experiences, learn about investment and trade promotion opportunities, seek partners, expand markets and contribute to promoting product consumption.

Comrade Le Thanh Liem - Permanent Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee shared: Nghe An is a province located in the center of the North Central region, with a convenient transportation system, connecting the North and the South. Therefore, this week is not only meaningful in introducing prestigious, quality, and safe products of Ho Chi Minh City enterprises to the people of Nghe An province but also to the people of the North Central region; it is an opportunity for Ho Chi Minh City enterprises to participate in expanding the market.
Within the framework of the program, there are also activities to promote trade, concretizing the content of cooperation on trade and investment promotion between Nghe An and the City named after Uncle Ho.

The socio-economic development cooperation program between Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An province was first officially signed and implemented in 2003.
After the Politburo issued Resolution No. 26 on the direction and tasks for Nghe An province's development until 2020, Ho Chi Minh City was the first locality to evaluate the development cooperation process between the two localities and sign the Agreement on socio-economic development cooperation for the period 2014 - 2020.
Up to now, there have been 56 investment, production and business projects of enterprises and investors from Ho Chi Minh City investing in Nghe An with a total registered capital of over VND 34,463 billion; of which 32 projects with a total investment capital of over VND 22,000 billion have come into operation, contributing to the budget more than VND 1,800 billion.
