Ministry of Education and Training inspects admissions to four universities
The Ministry of Education and Training's inspection team will work at schools from August 1, focusing on university admissions in 2019.
On July 30, the Ministry of Education and Training decided to inspect the 2019 university admissions at four universities: Hanoi University of Home Affairs, Forestry University, Hung Vuong University in Ho Chi Minh City, and Bac Lieu University.
The inspection includes developing and publicizing the school's enrollment plan, determining enrollment targets and organizing enrollment. The inspection team will begin working from August 1, for 30 days.

The four schools on the inspection list all set very low admission scores for 2019. The admission score based on the national high school exam results of the Forestry University ranges from 13 to 18, with most majors taking 13. The admission score based on academic records is only 15, with a combination of three subjects.
Similarly, Hanoi University of Home Affairs has a floor score of 12 to 17. Many admission combinations in many majors of Quang Nam and Ho Chi Minh City branches are only 12, meaning an average of 4 points per subject. Bac Lieu University only has two floor scores of 12-13 for the regular university system.
