With knife held to her neck, female telecommunications employee knocked down robber
A young man pretended to ask a female employee to transfer money. While the female employee was working on the computer, the young man pulled out a knife and held it to her neck in an unsuccessful attempt to rob her.
On the evening of August 1, Tan Phu District Police (HCMC) were still investigating a daring robbery that occurred at a telecommunications store located on Thach Lam Street, Phu Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District.

The clip recording this robbery is spreading rapidly on social networks because the robber was so reckless and the female store employee was very brave.
According to the clip, on the afternoon of July 30, a young man wearing a mask entered a telecommunications store on Thach Lam Street and asked the female employee on duty, Ms. P. (born in 1991), if she accepted money transfers through her account. Ms. P. said yes, so this person asked to transfer 50 million VND. After checking, Ms. P. informed that the store's account did not have enough money, then the young man left.
About 30 minutes later, the young man returned and gave Ms. Phuong a piece of paper with the account number, sender, and recipient information and asked her to transfer 10 million VND.
While the female employee was doing the paperwork, the young man came around behind her and put a knife to her neck, threatening to rob her. At this time, Ms. P. tightly grabbed the robber's knife, resisted fiercely and shouted for help.

During the struggle, both fell to the floor, causing the knife in the robber's hand to fly out. Dropping the knife, the robber ran outside, jumped on a motorbike and escaped.
The victim then reported the incident to the local police. Tan Phu District Police arrived to examine the scene, take witness statements, and confiscate a knife.
According to the victim’s description, the robber was about 1.65m tall and spoke with a southern accent. The investigation agency is currently hunting for the perpetrator.
