According to FAT's announcement, tickets are sold through two channels: online and at ticket counters.

There are three ticket prices for Thai fans, the highest being stand A with 500 baht (375,000 VND) and the lowest being stand D with 200 baht (150,000 VND).

Vietnamese fans are given a separate area, located between stands A and D. Tickets for the away team cost 650 baht (490,000 VND).

Fans with Thai Fan Club membership cards can purchase from August 5 to August 18, with a 5% discount. Other members can purchase from August 19.

Vietnam is in Group G with Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and UAE.

The opening match between Thailand and Vietnam will take place on September 5 at Thammasat University's Rangsit Center Stadium, which has a capacity of about 20,000 people.

Thailand used to be the "big guy" of Southeast Asia, but under coach Park Hang-seo, Vietnam has surpassed them. The Korean coach helped the "Golden Star Warriors" win the 2018 AFF Cup, and also defeated Thai teams three times in the M150 Cup, the 2020 AFC U23 Championship qualifiers and the 2019 King's Cup.
