At 9:00 a.m. on August 5, on Lenin Avenue, through Hamlet 13, Nghi Phu Commune (Vinh City), a herd of about 20 cows appeared walking proudly on the street. According to local residents, this situation has happened many times but no authorities have handled it. In the photo: The herd of cows lined up horizontally, occupying the entire Lenin Avenue. With a large amount of traffic, the herd of cows lining up like that will pose a potential risk of traffic accidents at any time. Mr. Nguyen Van Tai, a resident on Le Nin Street, said: the time when cows and buffaloes appear is usually in the morning or early evening, sometimes the herd can reach 30-40 cows, affecting traffic. It is worth mentioning that although the herd of cows numbered in the dozens, according to the reporter's observations, there was no one to herd or look after them. Therefore, they freely ate all the flowers and ornamental plants and caused traffic safety problems on the road. Not to mention that at times, the herd of cows defecated indiscriminately, making the avenue no different from a "village road". Photo: QA |

Discussing this issue, Mr. Ha Van Trung - Chairman of Nghi Phu Commune People's Committee explained: This herd of cows belongs to households in hamlets 12 and 13. Previously, we had required the households to sign a record not to let the cows roam freely on the streets. Photo: QA |
