On August 6, Bien Hoa City Police, Dong Nai Province, were still coordinating with the railway industry to investigate the cause of the fatal accident that occurred at the railway crossing on Vo Thi Sau Street, Bien Hoa City.

The accident happened late on August 5th and was recorded by a security camera, leaving everyone who witnessed it terrified. According to initial information, at that time, Mr. Nguyen Minh (25 years old, from Binh Thuan province) was driving a motorbike with license plate 60L2 - 553 on Vo Thi Sau Street in the direction of Ha Huy Giap Street to Lac Cuong intersection.
When he arrived at the level crossing at km 1697+910 (Quyet Thang ward, Bien Hoa city), because he was driving too fast, Minh lost control of his speed and crashed into the barrier that had just been closed by railway staff to catch the train. At the moment Minh crashed into the barrier, the train was rumbling towards him.
Mr. Minh died at the scene. After the accident, the train stopped to coordinate the incident resolution.
Previously, on the evening of June 9, at this location, a motorbike driver crashed into a barrier, causing serious damage. Railway statistics show that from 2018 to present, there have been 5 incidents of motorbike drivers crashing into barriers in this area, causing traffic safety risks.
