SLNA contributes 9 faces to the 2020 U16 Asian qualifiers
(Baonghean.vn) – To prepare for the 2020 AFC U16 Qualifiers in mid-September 2019, the Vietnam Football Federation has called up 9 SLNA U15 players and 1 assistant to the Vietnam U16 team.
After winning the National U15 Championship, SLNA had 9 players and 1 assistant coach called up to the Vietnam U15 team to participate in the Southeast Asian U15 Football Championship.
Currently, the U15 Vietnam team has performed excellently in qualifying and will meet U15 Malaysia in the semi-finals. In which, Cai Van Quy is the leading scorer of U15 Vietnam with 5 goals.
To have the best force for the 2020 U16 Asian Qualifiers in mid-September 2019, the coaching staff of the Vietnam U16 team called up 9 SLNA U15 players to the Vietnam U16 team, including 8 SLNA players currently playing for the Vietnam U15 team and player Phan Duy Hao.

These players are: Dang Xuan Son, Tran Dinh Thanh, Nguyen Van Bay, Phan Duy Hao, Dang Ba Ha, Dam Duc Vinh, Ngo Van Bac, Cai Van Quy, Nguyen Quang Vinh and assistant coach Ho Viet Ha. These are the pillars of U15 SLNA in the recent successful defense of the championship and are the core of U15 Vietnam at present.
According to the plan, the National U16 team will gather from August 10 to September 23, 2019. In the 2020 U16 Asian qualifiers, the Vietnam U16 team is in Group H including the teams: Vietnam, Australia, Timor Leste, Mongolia and Macau and will compete in Vietnam.
