On August 6, information from the Tri Le commune government, Que Phong district said: In the area, 10 cows belonging to local people died, the cause was determined to be lightning. Because the cows were killed by lightning the day before, the government and people destroyed this herd of cows.

Previously, in the cattle grazing area of the people of 3 villages Na Tui, Na Can, Na Lit in the border commune of Tri Le, there was a thunderstorm with thunder and lightning. Lightning in the thunderstorm killed 10 cows of 4 households. According to the leaders of Tri Le commune, the ground in this commune has a lot of iron ore. This could be the main reason why lightning in the thunderstorm killed the people's cattle.
Currently, the local government is coordinating with forces stationed in the area to propagate to people to limit grazing livestock, especially during thunderstorms and lightning to limit damage to people.
