(Baonghean.vn) - Feeling sad because he could not go to school, C. wandered around and got lost. Luckily, the police force of Ky Son district and the police department of Muong Xen town discovered the child and they contacted his family to pick him up.

Information from Ky Son District Police said that the unit has handed over Xong Ba C. (12 years old), residing in Huoi Nhao village, Nam Can commune, who got lost, to reunite with his family.

Previously, at around 11pm on August 5, while on duty to ensure security and order in Muong Xen town, the Ky Son District Police Working Group in coordination with the Muong Xen Town Police Department discovered a child around 10-12 years old walking alone near Muong Xen market area with signs of panic and fear. Realizing that the child had unusual signs, especially at night and when it was deserted, the Patrol Group took the child to the town People's Committee headquarters.

Here, in addition to buying bread and milk for the child to eat, the members of the group continuously reassured the child. When the child calmed down, he said he was Xong Ba C. from Nam Can commune, more than 50 km from the location where he got lost. Due to family problems (not being able to go to school, parents divorced), he had left home for the past 2-3 days, then got lost in Muong Xen town.

Because it was late at night and the child was quite tired, the patrol team let him stay overnight. At the same time, the patrol team quickly verified and clarified C.'s relatives, contacted Nam Can Commune Police and C.'s family to take him home.

On the afternoon of August 6, Mr. Xong Chong Nhia, C.'s uncle, came to the town People's Committee headquarters to present legal documents, verifying the relationship between Mr. Nhia and C. to receive his relatives. When C. was handed over to his family, he was in a stable and normal state of health and spirit.

Mr. Xong Chong Nhia was extremely happy and grateful for the noble gesture of the comrades in the patrol team because if they had not discovered and helped him in time, he could have been in danger.
