Concrete murder case: 4 perpetrators confess
On August 6, the Investigation Police Agency of Binh Duong Province announced: Through an expanded investigation into the concrete murder case led by Pham Thi Thien Ha (born in 1988, residing in Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City).
So far, the police have determined that Ha, Trinh Thi Hong Hoa (born in 1953, all residing in Tan Phu, Ho Chi Minh City), Le Ngoc Phuong Thao (born in 1990, residing in Tien Giang), and Nguyen Ngoc Tam Huyen (born in 1979, residing in Go Vap, Ho Chi Minh City) committed the crime, without discovering any new accomplices. The group has honestly confessed to the crimes they committed.
Previously, around October 2018, Thao rented house number 90 in Hamlet 5, Hung Hoa Commune, Bau Bang District (Binh Duong) for the group including Thao, Hoa, Huyen and two brothers L and T. to practice the strange sect. In December 2018, Ha organized for everyone to go to Binh Chau, Ba Ria - Vung Tau to rent a Villa (Green Garden area) to live and practice.
Here, Ha informed everyone that the ascetic practice must go through two stages called "Tay Tinh" (cleansing the body's dirt) and "Tinh Coc" (a period of not eating or drinking) until the "right result" is achieved.

When entering the “Tịnh Cốc” stage, everyone was very tired, only Hà had not “Tịnh Cốc” to take care of everyone. After “Tịnh Cốc” for a while (about 10 days), Mr. L. could not bear the “asceticism” anymore so he jumped off the building and escaped.
Seeing this, Ha and Mr. T. helped Mr. L. to the room without taking him to the hospital to check his injuries for emergency treatment. Afterwards, Mr. L. died. Then, Ha's group murdered Mr. T. because they suspected he was possessed by "Satan".The group poured concrete on the two victims.
By mid-May 2019, the case was discovered. Afterwards, Binh Duong Provincial Police arrested the above group of subjects.
