48 men and women high on drugs in karaoke bar at dawn
During a surprise inspection of the Mercury karaoke bar in the early morning of August 10, police discovered 32 men and 16 women testing positive for drugs.
Thanh Khe District Police, Da Nang City said that in the early morning of August 10, the Criminal Police Team coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Team - Police of this district to conduct an administrative inspection of the Mercury karaoke bar (Dien Bien Phu Street, Thanh Khe District).

At the time of the inspection, the restaurant had 7 rooms being used by guests. There were a total of 60 guests, including 27 women and 33 men. The police cordoned off the scene for inspection and discovered a subject named Vinh was storing 45 drug pills on the first floor.
The remaining guests were taken by the police to the district police headquarters for examination and drug testing. The urine test results for the 60 guests above showed that 16 women and 32 men were positive for drugs.
