Closing Ceremony of Nghe An Open Chess Tournament 2019
(Baonghean.vn) - After an exciting day of competition, the 2019 Nghe An Open Chess Tournament for all ages has found the best young players.
On the afternoon of August 11, at Nghe An Guest House, the Closing Ceremony of the 2019 Nghe An Open Chess Tournament for all ages took place. The tournament was attended by nearly 200 athletes from 16 units, including 2 delegations from Ha Tinh and Quang Binh.

Athletes compete in 5 age groups for men and women including: U6; U7; U9; U11 and Open group from 12 years old to 22 years old and under.

After a day of exciting competition with high professional quality, the Organizing Committee awarded 10 sets of medals to the young athletes. Results:
- Gold medal in U6 women's event: Nguyen Dan Le (Nghe An Club).
- Gold medal in U6 men's category: Le Tran Hoang Vu (Tiny Chess Club).
- Gold medal in U7 women's category: Nguyen Khanh Linh (Do Luong).
- Gold medal in U7 men's event: Nguyen Dai Viet Cuong (Dong Hoi Club).
- Gold medal in U9 women's category: Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung (Dien Chau).
- Gold medal in U9 men's event: Nguyen Minh Hieu (Nghe An Club).
- Gold medal in U11 women's event: Nguyen Huyen Thuong (Do Luong).
- Gold medal in U11 men's event: Bui Tuan Kiet (Nghe An Club).
- Gold medal in Open U11 female (12 - 22 years old): Nguyen Phan Linh Chi (Dong Hoi Club).
- Gold medal in Open U11 men's event (12 - 22 years old): Nguyen Van Huy (Nghe An Club).
