Focus on training labor resources to serve industrial parks and large projects in Nghe An

Up to now, the school has trained 5,398 students, with a high employment rate of 85% - 90%, with some majors achieving 100% employment within 6 months of graduation, with a stable high income of 7 million VND/month right after graduation.

Currently, there are about 3,000 students working at large corporations and companies in the country, and nearly 1,000 students have been working and studying to improve their qualifications in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, etc.

During the survey, the delegation acknowledged the school's efforts in implementing the tasks set out in Project 2439 such as: expanding international training cooperation, not only connecting within the ASEAN region and Asia, the school also cooperates in training with countries such as Germany and Australia; enhancing training quality capacity from facilities to standardizing the vocational teaching staff; improving the efficiency of labor use after training.

In addition, the delegation requested the school to clarify a number of issues related to the implementation of the Project, especially propaganda work, proposing plans and solutions for implementation; enhancing skills training for students when studying and working abroad; forecasting labor market demand in the coming time to orient key training sectors; the number of students working in the province after graduation is still limited, mainly working in other provinces and exporting labor.

Speaking at the survey, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board Ho Phuc Hop stated that Project 2439 was issued in conjunction with the strong and drastic implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress and Resolution 26 of the Politburo.

Accordingly, the task is set to make Nghe An a fairly developed province, the center of the North Central region, including a center for human resource training.

However, a survey at the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College shows that, besides efforts to strive, be proactive and creative, the school has not yet developed a specific plan that closely follows Project 2439.

Therefore, comrade Ho Phuc Hop suggested that in the coming time, the school should closely follow the criteria of the Project, outlining the school's key and specific tasks associated with the implementation of the Project.

Accordingly, it is necessary to grasp the socio-economic situation of the province, survey the needs of students, thereby building a training strategy, especially focusing on training labor resources to serve industrial parks and large projects of the province.
