Charity activities, helping the poor in the localities
(Baonghean.vn) - On August 14, activities took place to visit, give gifts, and support poor households and those in difficult circumstances in the province.

Accordingly, from the "For the Poor" fund and the "Relief Fund", the district has supported 40 million VND for 8 households in the communes of Chau Quang, Chau Thai, Dong Hop, Chau Dinh, Tho Hop and Nghia Xuan whose members have serious illnesses, work accidents and drowning deaths. Each household received 5 million VND, helping the families to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Yen Lam was born into a family of 3 children, in a particularly poor household. Overcoming that situation, Yen Lam tried hard in her studies and was always an excellent student at school.
The house is worth 30 million VND, thanks to the Quy Hop District Youth Union calling for donations and support from school teams through the Small Plan movement. On this occasion, the Yen Hop Commune Youth Union and Yen Hop Primary School also presented gifts to the family of Kem Thi Yen Lam.

Women's Union of Tay Hieu commune (Thai Hoa town)The organization gave 40 gifts, each containing 20 kg of rice, to 40 families in difficult circumstances in the area. The rice gifts were donated by a philanthropist born in Tay Hieu, who is living and working in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ms. Ngo Thi Toi (born in 1983) has a difficult family situation. Her husband recently passed away from cancer. She alone has to work hard to raise 2 small children. The main income of the 3 mother and children depends on a few fields. The support and assistance of the Commune Farmers' Association Executive Committee has created conditions for her and her children to develop livestock farming and increase income to cover the children's education.

In the districtQuy Hop,“For Vietnamese Stature Fund and NASU for the Future” organized a gift giving event for 621 students preparing to enter grade 1 in the 2019-2020 school year in Nghia Xuan, Chau Dinh, Chau Loc, Van Loi and Ha Son communes.

Each gift set includes backpacks and school supplies for first graders preparing to start the new school year. In addition, the company also gave 3 water purifiers to 3 communes in particularly difficult areas: Chau Ly (Quy Hop) and 2 communes Nghia Phu and Nghia Lam (Nghia Dan).
This is the second year of the Fund for Vietnamese Stature and the 15th year that Nghe An NASU Sugarcane Company Limited has implemented this program in preparation for the new school year.
