Prosecution of gangster Bac "Pig" for assaulting doctor and punching police officer
When the ward police arrived to ensure security and order, Bac continued to openly curse, threaten to beat the doctor, and punch the police lieutenant colonel.
On August 15, Ninh Binh City Police announced that they had initiated a criminal case, prosecuted the accused and detained Dinh Viet Bac (nicknamed Bac "Pig") residing in Yen Bang Commune, Y Yen District (Nam Dinh) for 3 months for the crime of "Disturbing public order".
Previously, at around 3:15 a.m. on August 9, Dinh Viet Bac (nicknamed Bac "pig", born in 1982) took his daughter D.DTM (born in 2017) to the Emergency Department of Ninh Binh Provincial General Hospital to treat a wound on her forehead.

Here, Dr. Le Tran Cuong received the patient, then together with nurse Bui Thi Thu Ha examined and treated the child's wound. While the nurse was treating M.'s wound, Dr. Cuong went out. Bac thought that he did not care about his child, so he cursed, then punched and grabbed the doctor by the neck.
After M. received first aid and had her wound stitched at the Department of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery, Bac returned to the Emergency Department to continue cursing, threatening to beat Dr. Cuong, and using vulgar language.

Not stopping there, when the Nam Thanh Ward Police arrived to ensure security and order, Bac continued to openly curse, threaten to beat the doctor, and punched Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Hai - Chief of Nam Thanh Ward Police who was on duty.
Upon receiving the news, the Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department directed Ninh Binh City Police to mobilize forces to focus on investigating and prosecuting the subject, clarifying the illegal acts of Bac "Pig".

On the same afternoon (August 9), the Ninh Binh City Police Department summoned Dinh Viet Bac to clarify the act of "Disturbing public order". At the police station, Bac confessed to the crime.
According to the investigation records, Bac “pig” had a previous conviction for “disturbing public order”. He was a notorious criminal, the leader of a criminal gang operating between Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh provinces.
