The Ministry of Justice has just held a meeting to review the draft Decree regulating administrative sanctions for violations in the field of road and railway traffic, replacing Decree 46/2016 of the Government.
In this draft, the Ministry of Transport has proposed to add penalties for a series of acts, and at the same time proposed to increase the penalty for a series of acts.

Accordingly, the draft stipulates a fine of 800,000 - 1 million VND for driving a car with additional lights installed in the front, rear, on the roof, under the chassis, on one side or the side of the car, or for attaching a license plate with unclear letters or numbers or painting or pasting to change the letters, numbers or the color of the letters, numbers or the background of the license plate.
The draft also proposes a fine of VND2-3 million for driving a vehicle with a horn installed or used exceeding the prescribed volume, and a suspension of the driver's license for 1-3 months; confiscation of additional lights and horns exceeding the prescribed volume.
