Man on the run after 4 years of selling two women abroad arrested

(Baonghean.vn) - After 4 years of illegally selling 2 women abroad, Nhi was discovered and arrested by Nghe An Border Guard.

Since 2015, a network has emerged in the border commune of Keng Du, specializing in deceiving young women to sell them abroad. The subjects are mainly local people who have acquaintances with the victims. Therefore, the Nghe An Border Guard Command established Project 383L.

At 6:00 p.m. on August 18, Keng Du Border Guard Station coordinated with the Drug and Crime Prevention Department of Nghe An Border Guard to discover and arrest Moong Van Nhi (born in 1995), permanent resident of Quyet Thang village, Keng Du commune, Ky Son district, for illegal human trafficking.

According to the initial statement of the subject: In 2015, Moong Van Nhi cooperated with a number of other subjects outside the area to trick two victims, Luong Thi O (born 1995) and Moong Thi X (born 2001) in Keng Du commune, into taking them to China to sell.

After successfully carrying out the trafficking, the subjects were paid 7 million VND/victim. Due to fear of being discovered, Moong Van Nhi fled his living area and after many months of fighting, the subject was discovered and arrested by the Nghe An Border Guard.

Thus, in just over a week, Nghe An Border Guard Force has successfully fought 2 special cases, arresting 2 key subjects in 2 human trafficking rings in the border area.

Currently, the Nghe An Border Guard Command is directing forces to expand the investigation, track down subjects related to the case, and complete the case file for handling according to the provisions of law.
