Nghe An passenger bus accident in Hoa Binh, 16 people injured and dead

(Baonghean.vn) - Traveling from Nghe An to Hanoi, Thanh Hong Son passenger bus residing in Quy Hop district crashed into a truck parked in front, causing both vehicles to flip into the field, 2 people died on the spot, 14 passengers were seriously injured.

The serious traffic accident occurred at 2:30 a.m. on August 21 on Ho Chi Minh road, km 501+100, An Nghia commune, Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province.

According to initial information: At the above time, the Thanh Hong Son sleeper bus with license plate 37B - 021.20 was carrying passengers from Quy Hop town (Nghe An) to Hanoi. When it arrived at the above location at exactly 2:30 a.m., it crashed into a meter truck parked on the side of the road in the same direction.

The strong collision from behind caused both vehicles to flip into the field, killing two people on the spot (including the truck driver), seriously injuring 14 passengers in the van, and crushing the front of both vehicles.

Upon receiving the news, the Traffic Police of Lac Son District, Hoa Binh Province, promptly arrived at night, organized the emergency evacuation of the victims, made a record to clarify the cause and cleared the scene of the accident.
