In addition to Mr. Pham Viet Muon, former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van NinhIt was also determined that there were violations and shortcomings in deciding on the policy of equitization and divestment of state capital at a number of enterprises under the Ministry of Transport.
The Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Transport was determined to have seriously violated the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations; lacked responsibility, lax leadership, direction, and inspection, allowing many violations and shortcomings to occur in the implementation of equitization and divestment of state capital at a number of enterprises under the Ministry of Transport.
The Central Inspection Commission believes that the above violations have caused great losses of State money and assets, negatively affected the reputation of the Party organization and the transport sector, and caused public outrage, to the point that disciplinary action must be considered and taken. Based on that conclusion, three Deputy Ministers of Transport were also disciplined.
The above violations and shortcomings are the responsibility of units under the Ministry of Transport and the Government Office. The Central Inspection Committee requests competent Party organizations to review and handle the responsibilities of relevant collectives and individuals./.
