Nghe An police arrest 6 fugitives in the South and bring them to justice
(Baonghean.vn) - Among the 6 arrested subjects, there is a subject who has been on the run for 26 years, changing his name to hide his identity.
On the evening of August 30, the wanted group, Criminal Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police escorted 4 out of 6 wanted subjects arrested in the southern provinces and the Central Highlands region to Nghe An and handed them over to relevant units.
These are the subjects arrested by the Criminal Police Department (Nghe An Police) in coordination with local police in the southern and Central Highlands provinces from August 20-30.

Specifically, after 10 days of persistent verification and using a series of professional measures, the task force successfully arrested 6 wanted subjects including: Tran Thi Thang (born in 1983, residing in Son Tien commune, Huong Son, Ha Tinh) was wanted by Vinh City Police in April 2019 for the crime of Theft of property. Thang was the only female subject arrested in this batch, she was arrested while hiding in Tan Thoi Nhat ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City.
Thai Van Toan (born in 1991, residing in Lien Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) was wanted by Yen Thanh district police in July 2019 for gambling. Toan was arrested while hiding in Duc Hoa district, Long An province. Also wanted for gambling, Ta Quang Canh (born in 1975, residing in Hung Linh commune, Hung Nguyen district) was arrested while hiding in La Toi commune, Lahdrai district, Kon Tum province. Canh was wanted by Nam Dan district police in July 2019.
Nguyen Van Hao (born in 1987, residing in Ly Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) was wanted by the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Ninh province in May 2019 for the crime of Possessing prohibited goods; Nguyen Van Giang (born in 1992, residing in Van Dien commune, Nam Dan district) was wanted for the crime of Disturbing public order. Giang was arrested while hiding in Binh Duong.

Among them is Nguyen Van Ke (born in 1967, residing in Nghia Hoan commune, Tan Ky) who is wanted for the crime of Evading the execution of a sentence. Nguyen Van Ke has been a fugitive for 26 years. In 1993, Ke committed the crimes of Destroying national security works and Receiving property obtained by others through criminal acts. While the police were investigating, Ke fled the area. After escaping, Ke changed his name and went to the Central Highlands to get married and have children. Ke was arrested while hiding in Easuk, Dak Lak province.
That same evening, the Criminal Police Department completed the procedures and handed over the subjects to relevant units.
