HOT: 4 Nghe An crew members rescued in the sinking fishing boat in Quang Binh

According to Mr. Tran Van Hung - Chairman of Son Hai Commune People's Committee, Quang Tri border guard ship and functional forces rescued 4 missing crew members at sea.
“This morning, we arrived in Quang Binh to coordinate with the authorities to deploy search measures. At 9:30 am this morning, September 6, the Quang Binh Provincial Search and Rescue Center informed that they had found 4 fishermen and luckily they were still alive." Those are the crew members: Le Van Chien, Pham Van Hoang, Tran Van Cuong and Ngo Van Xo.
"Currently, authorities are continuing to search for the remaining two fishermen," Mr. Hung added.

Mr. Nguyen Truong Thanh - Chief of Office of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control of Nghe An province said: 4 surviving crew members were rescued by rescue ship CN09 - Border Guard of Quang Tri province 30 - 40 nautical miles from the mainland.
According to the Border Guard rescue force of Quang Binh province, the four crew members who were just rescued were in very poor health due to hunger and fighting for many hours with fierce waves.
According to authorities, when the ship sank, the crew members clung to foam boards and life jackets on the ship, which allowed them to stay afloat at sea and survive.
After receiving 4 crew members from the Quang Tri fishing boat, the authorities performed first aid on the boat and brought them safely to shore. Once the crew members’ health is stable, the authorities will hand them over to the local authorities and their relatives.
Also this afternoon, Quang Binh authorities mobilized additional fishing boats from fishermen from Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces to search for the remaining two missing crew members.
