(Baonghean.vn) - On September 8, representatives of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper presented 5 boxes of various medicines from Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien to the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province.

This is the amount of medicine donated by the Minister of Health to the Nghe An Border Guard to serve the need for free medical examination and treatment for ethnic minorities on the Nghe An border.

Faced with difficulties in medical examination, treatment, and free medicine provision for officers, soldiers, and ethnic minorities in border areas, the Minister of Health asked the Vietnam Pharmaceutical Corporation to transfer 400 kg of various medicines to Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, so that Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper could deliver them to the people in border areas. And through the Border Guard Commands of Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, and Nghe An provinces to distribute and treat the people.

This is a meaningful gift to help the military and civilian medical stations of the Border Guard stations on the border to provide better care and treatment for people.

On the same day, in response to the program "Sentiment of the border and islands", FOSCO Corporation cooperated with Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper to present a patrol boat to Mon Son Border Guard Station worth 37 million VND.

This activity aims to support officers and soldiers of Mon Son Border Post to better fulfill their tasks of maintaining security and order in the area, providing emergency transportation and medical examination and treatment for people, especially the two Dan Lai ethnic villages in the core area of ​​Pu Mat National Park.
