On the afternoon of September 9, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, member of the In-depth Research Team on types of Party cell activities of public service units attended the meeting at the Party Cell of the Training and Training Department under the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center Party Committee.
The Agricultural Extension Center is a revenue-generating public service unit under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghe An, under the professional guidance of the National Agricultural Extension Center. The Agricultural Extension Center Party Committee has 5 Party cells and 37 Party members. Of which, the Training and Education Department Party Cell has 8 Party members, 1 Secretary and 1 Deputy Secretary.

The Department is responsible for developing document sets for training courses, training, and transferring technical advances and agricultural extension services to technical staff, agricultural extension officers, and farmers.
According to the assessment of the Party cell's performance in August, the ideological situation of Party members is stable, the leadership work in building Party cells is focused, and Party members are proactive in implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW and Resolution of the 4th Central Committee (12th tenure) of the Party.
Regarding leadership in implementing political tasks, the Party cell has achieved some outstanding results such as: Coordinating with Nghe An Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station to develop scenarios and contents for agricultural extension propaganda; implementing 13 training courses for grassroots agricultural extension workers in 2019...

At the meeting, 6 opinions were expressed on many groups of issues. The Party cell also frankly pointed out some limitations and shortcomings in August; proposed some tasks and solutions to overcome and effectively implement the tasks in September.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department said that the Party Cell of the Training and Education Department had organized the meeting methodically, with full content, ensuring quality, promoting the Party's fighting spirit and the responsibility of Party members.
The main task of the department is to inform, propagate, train and transfer agricultural technical advances, so it must focus on bringing information to the grassroots, to every household and every person.
Pay attention to promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; spreading good models and typical examples of applying technical advances, transforming crop and livestock structures... contributing to promoting production development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction in agriculture and rural areas.
The Party cell also needs to focus on leading ideological work, providing more in-depth information on current issues, major policies, key tasks and solutions of the industry, issues of agriculture, farmers, rural areas and new rural construction.
