(Baonghean.vn) - The Nghe An Provincial Women's Union held an election to hold the position of Chairperson for Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa, Permanent Vice Chairperson of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union.

On the afternoon of September 9th, in accordance with the Charter of the Vietnam Women's Union, and with the agreement of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union, 15th term, held a meeting to elect and consolidate the position of President of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union, 15th term, for the 2016-2021 term.

Attending the Conference were Ms. Bui Thi Hoa - Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; Mr. Nguyen Manh Khoi - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; and members of the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union, 15th term, 2016-2021.

The conference discussed and agreed on the plan to consolidate the position of President of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union; agreed on the nomination of personnel with the consensus of the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, and proceeded to elect the key positions of the Union.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa delivered a speech after being elected to the position of President of the Provincial Women's Union.

As a result, 100% of the Executive Committee members present voted in favor of electing Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa to the position of President of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union, 15th term, 2016-2021.

Previously, Ms. Le Thi Tam, former Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union, retired according to regulations.
