According to RT, this leader even provided shocking specific evidence. The statement was made while the whole world was trying to defuse tensions between the US and Iran.
In a brief press conference on September 9, Mr. Netanyahu announced that Israel had discovered a "secret nuclear weapons development facility" of Iran in Abdeh, south of the city of Isfahan.
The Iranians “destroyed” the facility when they learned that Israel knew about it, the Israeli prime minister said.
Using shocking evidence to illustrate his point, Mr. Netanyahu said that every time Israel revealed information about Iran's nuclear activities, the country quickly covered up its actions.
Netanyahu showed photos of the Abadeh facility, before and after Iran learned that Israel had discovered it. The leader said Israel had discovered Abadeh from a previously top-secret nuclear document it had in its possession.
Last year, Netanyahu also unveiled a series of evidence related to Iran's nuclear program. At that time, at a press conference, the head of the Israeli government stood in front of a bookcase filled with top-secret Iranian documents and declared that the 2015 Iran nuclear deal was signed based on lies.
Last June, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute estimated that Israel has 80-90 nuclear warheads.
